YEAR 7 CERAMICS UNIT:

YEAR 7 ILLUSTRATION UNIT:
In this unit of work student started by looking at the work of Del Kathryn Barton and the use of colour, symbols in her work. By engaging students in the meaning of the artwork a sense of excitement and ‘play’ begins the unit of work.
I then introduce how to create depth using 1 point perspective drawing techniques and get students to work on developing these drawing skills – which can be used late in Art, Maths, Visual Communication Design and Technology. Some images have been taken from other teacher resources on the internet and have solely been used for educational purposes.
